A Splash of Color, That's Hot!!!

I have always loved the achromatic color scheme.  Black, White, Gray, Tan, Beige, Taupe, Silver and Gold make up the achromatic palette. Introducing one color into a design plan can change the look of a room instantly.  The same is true when describing a fabulous outfit for a night on the town.  Black dress or black suede chair with a pop of orange...BAM!  The addition of color transforms a simple, sleek or elegant color scheme with hints of interest and excitement.  Color generally makes people feel happy.  Reupholster a chair in red, purple or yellow then take some of that color and infuse it with pillows or a throw within the rest of the space. Paint a wall or the whole room in a color you like but never thought of using on the walls.  A less costly option, purchase a few colorful pillows or a throw in a color that appeals to you.  This option can dress up your neutral sofa or chairs, walls and flooring bringing new life into your room.  Spray paint your old table citron yellow or coral red.  Pick up a bright bouquet of flowers for a table.  Frame some artwork with colorful frames.
A splash of color can transform your living space and it will be fun throwing it around.  That's Hot!!!
