Shed a little light on the subject...

Perhaps you have been down the light bulb aisle recently.  One may wonder what to purchase, LED, Halogen, CFL or the long time favorite, our energy burning Incandescent.  LED is the way to go! Below are images of lighting from many places I have been.  A lot of it is LED lighting which is MERCURY FREE!!!
Tunnel vision, maybe not???

Texture over light?
Lighting changes the way we see things.  It enhances color, shape and texture.  Great design always includes a well thought out lighting plan.
The ARC LAMP!

Instead of wallpaper we have light!

This light is from Ikea and worth every small penny paid for it!

LED lighting enhances the colors on the walls from below and above.

The first time I saw this I thought it was stunning. LED lighting is run behind the baseboard of the room.  This photo was taken by me at Dulles Electric Supply.www.dulleselectric.com

Pendants free up space on each side of the bed.  Night stands are always crowded.

I was taught in design school NEVER to use this type of light on art because it is too hot.  This is LED lighting which in not very hot so, maybe my Professor would approve.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING!  Very nice
